The world has been taken aback by the SWINE INFLUENZA VIRUS (H1N1) threat of pandemic proportions.  Although the Philippines has a few reported cases only, strong advisories have been issued by the government, particularly the Departments of Health, Agriculture and Trade to piggeries and related industry players, and the general public as well.

We at AMERICAN BIO-CLINICAL LABORATORIES INTL. have also taken a pro-active stance.  We have a reminder at the reception area for patients to stay away from crowded places unnecessarily and practice frequent and proper washing of hands, as good hygienic practices and keeping ourselves healthy are the best defense against the virus. 

At the laboratory, our Medical Technologists have been instructed to wear masks and gloves when handling patients, while our maintenance personnel disinfect laboratory surfaces regularly. 

We thank our patrons for understading the medical logic for such precautionary measures.
